Allan Freedman is a Senior Vice President of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage. In December 2009, Berkadia Commercial Mortgage acquired the North American loan origination and servicing operations of Capmark Financial Group Inc. Mr. Freedman, a specialist in multifamily finance, is based in Berkadia’s Los Angeles office.

Mr. Freedman joined Capmark Finance Inc. in 1999 and has more than 10 years of experience in debt origination (construction, bridge, and permanent loans) and underwriting on multifamily communities throughout the country. He has extensive knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD programs.

Mr. Freedman is a frequent speaker at multifamily conferences, including the California Apartment Association, Crittenden National Conference: “Finding the Right Apartment Deal”, and the University of Southern California Masters of Real Estate program.

Mr. Freedman earned an undergraduate degree with an emphasis in Computer Science and Economics at the University of California at Davis and a master’s degree in Real Estate Development at the University of Southern California.

Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC holds a CA Dept of Corporations Finance Lender and Broker License. In addition, Mr. Freedman holds CA Dept of Real Estate License #01353401 and originates third-party loans through Berkadia Commercial Mortgage Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage LLC.
