David Rifkind

Mr. Rifkind and his partners lead the strategic vision at George Smith Partners, Inc., one of the oldest, Los Angeles based real estate investment banking firms.  A long time Real Estate Finance executive, Mr. Rifkind’s production team focuses on arranging both debt and equity capital for active middle market and institutional accounts.   He is recognized as an expert in distressed assets and recapitalizations. His group’s specialized financings include note purchases, project recapitalizations, partnership restructures, bankruptcy and other forms of workouts.  In his career at GSP, he has been directly involved with the placement of over $2 Billion of debt and equity, representing virtually every real estate category over a broad geography.  Mr. Rifkind is an active public speaker and lecturer on current trends in commercial real estate finance.
