Guy Maisnik

Guy Maisnik is a partner in JMBM's Real Estate Department, Vice Chairman of JMBM's Global Hospitality Group® and a member of JMBM's Chinese Investment Group  -- a team of 50 seasoned professionals with more than $60 billion of hotel transaction experience, involving more than 1,000 properties located around the globe. 

Guy's deep and broad transactional practice includes complex hotel lending, debt restructure and workout, hotel enhanced mixed use project development, venture capital, vacation ownership, project finance, leveraged leasing and real estate transactions. 

Known widely for his versatility, Guy has represented many of the world's best known companies in their most critical projects extensively throughout North America, Europe, Russia, Asia, Mexico, Caribbean, Australia and South America.  Clients view Guy as more than a lawyer, but as a trusted business advisor and strategic partner whose ideas bring tangible value to their businesses and transactions. 

Guy's practice specializes in hospitality and hospitality-related projects and has emphasized the representation of private and institutional real estate investors and lenders such as pension funds, investment banks, commercial banks, opportunity funds, and insurance companies, both public and private. 

He has extensive experience in real estate lending programs, the acquisition and workout of portfolios of troubled real estate loans, and other real estate investment transactions, including joint ventures, securitizations, conduit, structured and mezzanine financing.
