Sean is a Principal and the Executive Managing Director at Dalfen’s Ltd and its U.S. investment arm Dalfen America Corp (DAC). He also sits on the firm’s Executive Committee where he helps oversee its global investment programs.
Under Sean’s leadership, Dalfen America Corp has become one of the largest buyers of value-added and distressed industrial properties and loans in North America. Over the last twelve months, DAC’s latest value added industrial fund has acquired 23 institutional quality industrial buildings, including the purchase of defaulted notes on 13 buildings, all of which have been converted into REO. In June 2011, the fund’s acquisitions accounted for close to 30% of all the CMBS industrial loans traded throughout North America.
Sean has led the firm’s investments strategies which include: Property investment funds in multiple asset classes; convertible debentures; FDIC structured transactions; preferred equity placements: distressed debt opportunity funds; and strategic land assemblies. Some of Sean’s accomplishments within the firm include: disposition of $150M worth of the company’s US and Canadian commercial properties in 2007; heading the landmark sale of Puma AG’s Canadian head office and distribution facility to Great West Life Insurance Company; creating the company’s self-storage division, Mini Dauphin, now a leading self storage provider in Montreal; and assembling one of the largest contiguous industrial land holdings in the Montreal area and its subsequent rezoning as residential.

Previously, Sean worked at NAI Commercial, as an investment property sales broker, where he was one of the company’s top 10 performers in Canada. Prior to this he worked in corporate sales at Sprint Securities while simultaneously owning and operating a successful software firm.
Sean is a member of both the executive committee and the cabinet of Israel Bonds, as well as being one of the founding members of the organization’s Business Network Division. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events in both Canada and the US.
Sean attended McGill University where he studied Psychology and Finance, and graduated from Tel Aviv University’s Lowy School. Sean also holds a Social Science degree from Dawson College and a real estate degree from LaSalle College.
